En 1921, un set de timbres est apparu sur le marché, émis par une certaine République Méridite d'Albanie.
En fait, ces timbres n'ont jamais été émis par l'Albanie mais ils ont été vendus directement à des philatélistes de Yougoslavie.
Le qint (pluriel qintar) vaut un centième de lek, et sont tous deux des monnaies albanaises. Le qint n'est plus utilisé maintenant.
